She later completed fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UT Health San Antonio in Texas, where she served as Chief Fellow during her final year of training.

01 — CLINICAL APPROACH

"Not simply about reducing symptoms, but helping individuals feel more grounded, functional, and connected to themselves again."

Dr. Okwesili believes effective psychiatric care is not simply about reducing symptoms, but helping individuals feel more grounded, functional, and connected to themselves again. Her approach combines evidence-based treatment with thoughtful, individualized care that considers the whole person — not just a diagnosis.

She works collaboratively with patients to create treatment plans that are practical, manageable, and aligned with their goals, lifestyle, and day-to-day responsibilities. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood-related concerns, stress, or emotional and behavioral challenges, her goal is to create a clear path forward that feels supportive and achievable.

She understands that many individuals seeking care are balancing demanding lives while quietly struggling beneath the surface, and she strives to create a calm, respectful environment where patients can speak openly without fear of judgment.

Clarity. Collaboration. Meaningful improvement.

At Madora Psychiatry, care is centered around these three principles. Dr. Okwesili believes patients deserve to feel informed, supported, and actively involved in their treatment decisions.

02 — PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

"Madora Psychiatry was created to provide modern, compassionate psychiatric care that helps individuals feel more like themselves again."
